Hey guys, I'm new to the car scene and have a 2014 Lexus is250. After having it for 4 months i feel like it can be a little louder. Currently there's no mods done to it yet. I live in California so it has to pass smog. I have a budget of around $1000. What are my options?

 

muffler delete for something subtle (minimal drone but people can hear in their homes).. on top of that if you want -> resonator delete for obnoxiously loud to **** your neighbors and ppl on the highway. save your money, the exhaust systems sound the same if not quieter and they're $1K+ by themselves with minimal horsepower gain

take off your exhaust (cheapest), muffler delete (2nd cheapest), or buy my Lexus F-Sport exhaust in the for sale section of the forum. Its from the Lexus so its built well, made to last, it also looks very nice. Quality chrome and clean welds.

 

Do you have any video / audio clips of your F sport exhaust? From my understanding, they don't add much noise besides a deeper growl, which IMO, is not noticeable

 

If you have a base model, I'd look into the stock F Sport intake tube that comes with the sound generator.
