Any opinions on the car? I know it has the boxer engine and gets terrible gas mileage, but seems like a lot of fun.
I have an RCF, I don't know what gas mileage is
My ex wife had a Subaru SUV and that thing went for like 200k last I heard. They're really good cars IMO.
You're a fine dad for getting her into manuals!
And this thread is all over the place, no worries lol.

She started as a nurse two months ago. When she wants something, she goes for it. The car was listed just today and she
had to drive out and get it. She's sacrificing the sun roof to get the limited grey edition. I'm glad she'll soon be an expert
on driving a stick.

That's a nice one for sure.
Only thing that really kept Subarus back for those who own them was the head gasket issues, which should be fixed for a 2019.
Regular maintenance and that thing should scream for years.
And agree with the others, not driving a WRX for the mpg is she haha

This thread has turned into a late 90s Acura love fest lol.

This 2002 refresh was nice too. I drove a friend's relative's 2002 TL when I was a wee lad. It seemed like a rich person's car, so out of reach. I drove it so slow and with great care. My immediate thoughts were: wow nice dashboard. so smooth/quiet, powerful engine.

Today this car is the equivalent of an old rusty hot dog cart. Still nice though if kept in good shape as in the photo. I still like the magic of the original though, pre facelift at launch. I felt like the refresh was trying too hard with its bulbous lights. It didn't quite match the subdued elegant nature of the body lines.

Did you know they actually did that because the headlights were getting stolen all the time?
They were the same headlights used on the Accord and were theft magnets, hence the weird extra curve in the refresh.
Fun random fact I remember from back then lol.

Acura and Honda are legendary in the car world. And it’s abbreviated VTEC, not VTECH.

I actually test drove a 2021 TLX ASpec this weekend. I think it looks sharp and liked the way it drove. SH-AWD really sharpens the handling.
