Yeah it’s intermittent with mine. Like yesterday, i was out driving around for a few hours. I only noticed the noise for a little bit then it seemed to go away.
Hey! I just had a chance to record a video to compare the sounds. Seems like mine makes the same sounds (high and low). Make sure to click sound on when you view my video to compare. Not sure if it matters, but my 2021 IS350 is approaching 5k miles in the next few weeks. I personally don't think there's any issue with the noises, but this is my first time with a V6 engine haha. Hopefully this will make you relieved. Either that or we both should be worrying

I really appreciate you taking the time to take a video. It does seem like it just may be a normal idle sound, on a 21 at least. Or you may be right and we should both worry lol. In all seriousness though , thanks for the help in providing a little relief.

No problem! It will be nice to get a comparison from Arentz to triple confirm, but yeah I think it's fine
So I drove mine again this morning. I think, once the cold start has finished, it does have a bit of a lumpy sound similar to yours. I don't know if it's the camera/microphone you used or what, but I can swear it's much less noticeable in the real world, at least for my car. It's just barely there. I remember my 2016 had a more noticeable chugging sound to it. So it is probably normal, though it never hurts to ask.
Just found your post regarding the idle noise. Did you ever figure this out? I just bought a brand new ES350 F sport and yesterday it started with this exact idle noise. It's driving me nuts.
Did anything ever come of this? I just bought a 21 is 350 with 39K and I hear this sound when idle and the sound is muted in the car. I don't notice it when driving normally and its never louder than the music if it's running. Just something I tested when I bought the car. I was thinking about getting an oil change from Lexus and then asking about the sound, but I'm starting to think this is normal. I wouldn't know because this is my first v6. I had a 2019 300 f sport turbo 4 and of course that had the "ticking" sound of a DI, but was a little lower than this. Again, with the radio on and driving normally, I don't notice it.

Hi. After MANY visits to the dealership they finally has me drive 3 of their new demo cars and all 3 had the exact same noise as mine after the cars were fully warmed up. The tech seems to think that because the cars have dual fuel systems (GDI and the Port Injection) the noise is related to the Port Inaction at low RPMs.
