Hello guys,
Wondering if anyone can help me with this, my “15 IS300h EV mode will only work when I’m driving below 25mph even though I’m not touching the gas pedal and the battery is fully charged and sometimes it stops working completely and the ICE will keep working after driving the car for a while.
i have checked the hybrid with OBD and no errors are showing and all the readings of the battery are good.
please can someone advise on how to solve this.

I would suggest disconnecting the 12V battery on the IS for at least 30 minutes and then take it for a drive after.
Without further details on how far the CT will travel before the ICE kicks in, it would appear that both vehicles are operating as designed.
Especially since you have no warning lights on in the IS, the vehicle ECUs believe everything to be functioning normally.
The only reason I suggest to disconnect the 12V battery is that the vehicle has likely adapted to the driving style of the previous owner, which is different to yours.
Letting the ECU reset while hopefully clear the previous learned driving pattern and then it can start to adapt to the way you drive.
