Hi Guys! I have a 2017 Lexus IS200t, Base Model. As you are all aware it is much harder to find items for my specific model. I also need help finding just in general the best products for my vehicle but, not at an extreme price.

Currently looking for the following...

• Front Splitter
• Side skirts
• Coil overs or Air Suspension (Debating on the two, just need to compare prices)
• Diffuser

Someone had told me that my model car should be able to use front lips from other models even F-Sports as long as its 2017+ but, I've heard others say something different. Please help!

 

I don't have a 2017+ so I don't have many specific recommendations as I am not quite familiar with what is out there, but if it's anything like the Base model 2014-16 then your options are fairly limited as far as front lip goes. The side skirts and rear diffuser are the same.

If you are looking to go budget, then EBay is likely going to be your best bet

Hopefully someone else can comment on air suspension or coilover options, as I don't have much experience with those on a 3IS

 

The limited lip options issue is more for the '14-'16 models. The '17-'20 bumpers are pretty much the same shape, with the exception of the side vents, so most lips should work for either bumper. Only reason a lip wouldn't fit is if it's really large and somehow incorporates the side vents into the design.

You can even swap the F Sport grill into the base bumper. You'll only be missing the brake cooling ducts.

 

Interesting, today I learned, thanks for info!

I was merely going off the options for 2014-16 and also seeing some kits for 2017+ that say (F-Sport ONLY), so figured it was the same deal, but now I learned there are some that fit both and some that don't.

 

Yeah, some companies will specify if their lip is universal or specific to the base or F Sport. I think it's mainly those outward vents that may cause fitment issues based on the lip's design.
