2020 Lexus IS 300 CarPlay
Hi, I just purchased a 2020 Lexus IS 300. It doesn’t come with CarPlay; I checked with the Lexus dealership and they’re not able to do a software upgrade for it.
I have a navigation system, voice command, etc and can do most things that CarPlay does, aside from projecting my apps on to my car display (I have the premium package). My car display screen is 10.3 inches.
What are my options for installing CarPlay? Also I was told that IOS 15 will include a mirroring option for maps, does anyone know if that’s true? And is apple car keys compatible with the IS 300 if I get CarPlay installed?
