Hi everyone, I am currently considering getting a new or used lexus IS300 for my daily driver. Had Accord before, it's been total loss because of the storm, and planning to get a new ride. It's my first time to get the info and make a deal and buy a car with my decision, I am a noob for car buying. Any tips would be thankful.
Since I am new to this club, I am not used to searching this kind of thread. I have tried to search some threads about the recent prices but could not find them easily at all. I would appreciate any links also.
Please share your deals/offers for the new lexus 2021 IS300 AWD Base line. I am currently in Northern NJ and based on truecar search, it says the average MSRP is around 41K and the prices offers on the real stocks are pretty much from 43K and plus.
I know it's currently a seller market. Is there any chance for me to get the OTD price down to around 40K? Or is it just impossible at this time?
Also, I am considering CPO's for used IS300 around 2018~2019 model. Based on local L/Certified inventories, it seems the price is ranged around 30K. How do you think about getting these?
Any insights would be appreciated. Thank You!

If you're willing to travel for it, you can find pre-owned 2021 models with minimal equipment that will get you close to where you want to be. Here's an example of a pretty heavily loaded one: LINK. Used AWD 300 with; nav (large screen), mark levinson, moonroof, triple beam headlights... with under 5k miles listed for $41k. Original sticker on this thing was probably around to $48k.

I just lowered my eyes to CPO for around 2018 ones. I had a testdrive of $30000 listed one today and the otd offer was around $35000. There were reconditioning fee of around $950, a processing fee of $800, sales commission charge of around 650$. Which are not required by the law, but the manager was certain that he could not tough the processing and sales commission fee which adds a lot. I know it was just the first offer for the first stock I looked at, I should look for other stocks also. But is there any way to get or much lower those prices?

Thank you for the reply. Right I have saw that listing also.
Due to some reasons for transferring the money from overseas, I had to lower my eyes for IS CPOs around 2018 year models.
Had a testdrive and OTD offer today and damn there were some additional charging fees from the dealer. As mentioned above in a different reply, is there any tips for dealing with those kinds of fees? Thanks.
