2015 IS350 F Sport Radio not playing intermittently
Randomly occasionally my radio will not play after turning the car on. It will show the song playing through the seconds but no audio. The only way to fix is it to put the car in park and turn off the vehicle completely and restart it. I’ve tried holding down the power button to reset the system and I’ve tried changing media sources but it still doesn’t work. Any advice?
I've only noticed this happen when I am connected via bluetooth and plug in my phone to charge, the music stops playing. I have to pause it on my Spotify app and then use the volume button on the car steering wheel or actual **** to get it working again. Can be finnicky but usually that'll fix it. Not sure if you're plugging in your phone or not though but 2014 didn't have bluetooth so they wouldn't have this issue and I have a 2015 like you
Oh sorry about that, when I was shopping for IS's and I asked them the difference, they said the 2014 models do not come with bluetooth... Not sure why they told me that so I always assumed they didn't.

Not sure who told you that, but they should be shot.
Since about the turn of the century most cars came with Bluetooth.
Once you hit about 2005 most of the Toyotas had Bluetooth...and certainly by 2010 they all have it.
How do I operate light switch from off-tail-off-tail. I’m not sure what you Mean by this.
Off is the lowest setting on the light stalk.
Tail is the second setting from the top.
Depending which light stalk you have, this is the order from bottom to top.
DRL Off -> Auto -> Taillight -> Headlight
or
Off ->Auto -> Taillight -> Headlight

I'd say "Taillight" also turns on the side marker lights as well. I used to always refer to this as "Parking lights" for that reason.
could one of these be the reason my audio randomly stops working on my car? Also any suggestions on where to go from here?
Going back to the thread I linked in post #2 you seem to have the symptoms and code that would support the Amp is failing.
From the thread:
Symptoms Common symptoms you may have an Amp failure: · No sound · No volume control from the radio volume **** or steering wheel controls · Volume doesn’t change on the multi-display when attempting to adjust the volume · Cannot adjust audio profile settings, or equalizer settings (i.e. Fade, Left/Right, Treble, Bass, etc.) · Prior to the sound stopping you may have noticed an odd/weird pop sound from the speakers · Prior to the sound completely stopping you may have noticed periods of no sound to which the sound would randomly return
To access the Diagnostic menu: · Turn the engine switch to on (Ignition ON) · While pressing and holding the “Menu” button, operate the light control switch: Off -> Tail -> Off -> Tail -> Off -> Tail ->Off · Diagnostic mode starts and the “Service Menu” screen will be displayed · Select “Failure Diagnosis” then “System Check” · You may retrieve a code B15C3

Options are:
Replace the Amp with a new or used one
Send the Amp out for repair
Try and repair the Amp yourself
So, if the code shows up in "past" and not present it still means that this is an active error code?
