Default Need help deciding on brake caliper paint

Hey everyone,

So just asking for your honest opinion on what color I should paint my brake calipers. I’m getting new wheels in about a month in dark graphite metallic.

My car is wrapped (please see photos). I was thinking of going with a dark blue color with black lettering (see last photo for reference of the blue tone I’m thinking of going) either saying Lexus with the L Logo or F Sport with the F logo.

If not blue, what colors would you suggest? I was also thinking black with either blue, red or white lettering.

I've always been a fan of red calipers!

Here's mine done with G2 Caliper paint

That looks really clean! I was thinking red as well at one point but I see a lot of red or yellow calipers so wanted to be different and stand out. One of the main reasons I even went with the wrap that I have.

You can never go wrong with red. It's kind of the original delineation between factory models with brake upgrades versus the standard brakes. Yellow calipers then came out for the ceramic rotors. As more manufacturers adopted the process, we began to see more colors. With this expansion in mind, it seems that color Lexus adopted was orange (please correct me if I'm wrong), so, if I would either go with red or orange.

OP - If you are looking for something to really stand out and be different, have you considered a shade of green? In some of your pics, the car has some shade of green that stands out so that could and grab that hue nicely....Now personally, I am a black caliper or standard metal look as I am super conservative but just throwing my 2 cents in

I am going to throw gold out there as I think it would suit your car. Or perhaps a burnt orange.

i'd do burnt orange from the 2020+ lexus GSF.
dark paint with dark wheels and the burnt orange caliper pops out just right.

The burnt orange is very nice but not really my taste. I’m not a fan of orange and not too sure I can picture it with my wrap.

What do you guys think of purple calipers?

Purple would bring out the purple in your wrap. I think it would also work and is something different.

My girlfriend actually gave me the idea for purple since my wrap does change colors but majority of the time is more of a purple hue.

I was thinking a midnight purple color with gray lettering.

I just sourced some 350 calipers to paint and install on my 250- love the purple suggestion here! I'm actually looking at a paint that's similar to your wrap for the calipers since my car is a deep sea mica.

I'm putting a vote for purple! I was looking at this but now you've got me considering midnight purple haha
