Only thing a dealer hates more than missing out on an added charge is overpromising and getting burned, I'd bet.

Im not sure why they said the door sills weren’t available? It’s the same part for the 350 and 500, and I got my 350 on December 31 with the door sills installed at the port. The trunk sill I can understand because perhaps the IS500 model isn’t out yet since it literally says IS500

I got the instructions for the trunk sill. Pretty much identical to the ES which was posted earlier...

I'm waiting for the trunk sill too, quite pricey though. Car came with the lit door sills.

Install was simple but I took about 90 minutes since I was just taking my time. I'll upload the instructions here but also provide some picture guidance. Passenger side is basically the same, with the knee panel being attached with clips instead of screws.

Front driver side final

Rear driver side final. I actually didn't know this came with the set. Needs a paper cut-out to line it up (even then, it's still not very accurate) and then gotta use supplied adhesive strips to attach to the car.

Use some painter's tape and a plastic pry tool to remove stock sills.

Pop off the sill trim (2 main clips) and the kick panel trim without taking off the weather stripping.

Disengage clip with needle nose plier to allow for more room for wiring.

More room!

Remove two screws and pop off the dash trim panel.

Install the light up sills after routing the harness. Follow the PDF for further instructions on where to lift the weather striping and to use a bridge clip (supplied). The tapping and further instructions are in the PDF, I forgot to take pictures.. oops

This is what I used to engage the supplied taps into the wires.

Zip tie everything up.

Tada!

Bonus pic. It is sure very bright!
Where did you get the door puddle lights??

I think it might be 67911-53030 for the front. Looks like there are individual numbers for each side which are included: 67911A (right) and 67912B (left).

67915-53030 and 67916-53030 for rear.

Close! Looking for the stainless steel door panel. Link you provided was the plastic inner trim right behind it!

Weird. The description says "sill plate"...

Here's an associated diagram for reference.

Make me wonder if this is it, for the front: https://parts.lexus.com/p/Lexus_2021...791153060.html

asked my local dealer, they said it was $300 for the whole assembly for one side.

with the illuminated ones only $335 + labor all 4. Realistically it would be better to just upgrade haha
