Hey guys, loving my new(to me) 2015 3IS350F. And getting well on the way to making it look how I want it to. One piece I purchased last night was a rear diffuser designed to fit with the factory oval/elliptical exhaust tips. Well I was thinking I don’t love those tips and I would like just a tiny bit more of an exhaust note. So maybe chopping and welding on some “resonated” tips would give me just the boost I’m looking for as I think a resonator delete is more than what I’m looking for sound wise. Anyway, I haven’t seen many oval shaped resonated tips from any reputable exhaust manufacturers, but have seen some nice looking options from China on eBay. These look perfect, but I’m worried I’m gonna cut my tips of, have these welded on, and then they’re gonna rust to ****** before they’re even a year old. Anybody have any experience with Chinese exhaust components? Here’s a pic of the ones that have caught my eye.

If they are really 304 stainless steel, you should be ok.
