Has anyone installed this on a 2017 IS300 AWD or know if it fits? I emailed BORLA but they can not confirm confidently on the fitment since they've never installed on a IS300.
Yes it will fit, installed it on my 2018 IS300 AWD. Easy plug and play, however you will lost likely need to change the tips to quads as singles would look weird on the oem diffuser. Has a nice deep sound, you will love it.

See above, seems this question has been answered already (assuming 2017 and 2018 have the same axleback fitment).

Is there a reason why the passenger side axle back is in 2 pieces?
I'm not really sure but after I installed it there were no leaks and it sounded perfect. I ended up getting it welded afterwards when I installed my midpipe just for some extra piece of mind.

You're welcome and yes it sounds like that clip, probably a bit louder in person. Has no drone at all. I ended up pairing it with the Apexi midpipe for more air flow and sound. You've got options for whatever setup you're looking for 👍🏻

Where did you get your Apexi midpipe? Any issues with it?
I'm going to try the Borla on my car (IS200T) to see if it's louder than the Invidia Q300 (this is extremely quiet), if so, I'll swap my Invidia for a Borla as well, but definitely putting it on the IS300.
