I'm going to try the Borla on my car (IS200T) to see if it's louder than the Invidia Q300 (this is extremely quiet), if so, I'll swap my Invidia for a Borla as well, but definitely putting it on the IS300.
I got it from https://t1motorsports.ca/ they gave me a great deal on it and a Seibon hood. No issues with it, definitely much more airflow through the exhaust and the car feels a bit quicker. The only issue was it was too loud and raspy for my liking when paired with the Borla axleback. I replaced the Apexi resonators with Vibrant bottle resonators and it made a huge difference with toning it down and getting rid of the rasp. Now it sounds perfect to me.

Which vibrant resonator did you go with?
That might be a better option, the Apexi is pricey $1,665 CDN + taxes

I went with this one https://vibrantperformance.com/bottl...onators-v1250/ if you aren't going with an aftermarket midpipe I would recommend going to an exhaust shop and redoing the piping up to the axle back to 2.50 inch, I believe oem is 2.25. This will let it breathe easier and give more sound. You'll have to choose between an x and an h pipe depending on the tone you want. Vibrant also has ultra quiet resonators https://vibrantperformance.com/ultra...onators-v1249/ worth looking at as well. A quality exhaust shop should be able to set you up and possibly let you hear how each resonator sounds with the setup before welding them on. Good luck!

Nice! I really want to get an exhaust that changes the sound deeper. But I also don't want to make changes to ruin my emissions. Thanks for sharing this and taking the jump to try it out. Ill have to look into this for mine as well.

The Borla S-Type axleback will definitely give you a much deeper tone. Still quiet under low rpms but after that it rumbles beautifully, you'll love it especially coming from the oem exhaust.

I know OP has parted with their IS350, but does anyone know if the Borla exhaust tips are removable/can be swapped with OEM tips?
