2021 IS 350 Rear tire wear! WOW

I don't see any evidence of aggressive driving on those tires. If you've spent more than 10 minutes at a track you know what happens to tires that have been consistently pushed to the edge of grip - mainly, they melt and ball up. Especially between tread grooves (if they still exist) and on the shoulder of the sidewall from extreme flexion during cornering. In some cases, that melted rubber ends up in the fender wells and painted surfaces on the rear of the car - especially in the case of burnouts.
IMO, this definitely looks like a combination of a bad alignment and tires that generally have a low tread life. For sure get your alignment checked asap.

I'm at a touch over 7,200 miles on my IS 350; guess it's time to check the rear tires!
They seem to pick up up lots of dirt. Anyway, IMO this looks fine for 7,200 miles. I seem to have misplaced my tread depth gauge during the move to my new place, but eyeballing it, they have a good amount left for now. Definitely something wrong with OP's car... could and most likely would be alignment if indeed they are not an outlaw.
