Default Lowering Lexus IS300H

Hi everybody,

While waiting to find a solution for the noise (clunk, clunk..) from my sway bar bushing or link post Clublexus

I'd like to lower my car not too much, and I don't like when the front is more low than the rear.

I already have a RS*R 191THD (Ti12000 Half Down) only Rear , I could buy the 191THD for the front but the lowering is almost 1 inch, it's too much for me. I would like to keep the car straight with the ground.

Can you advice me ?

I have the 2013/5 - 2016/9

If I take the TI2000 DOwn (not half down) it's write 15 - 10mm (1/2 inch), I wonder If the rear will be more low than the front despite what is write on the Rsr table.

It's weird the front half down or more lower than the down spring ?!!

Mixing spring types can get complicated. If leveling the vehicle without going too low is your main desire, coilovers might be your best bet. Sure, they're pricier than springs, but you'll be able to dial in the exact height you're looking for.

The coilovers is not a cheap choice sure, and I hear the coilovers are less reliable and the drive is roughter ?!

I measured the difference on my car with OEM spring (rear only) and TI2000 Half Down (T191 - rear only) there is 1.2 inch lower with half down, it s write 1/2 inch lower in the table :/, ok my car is not a F sport maybe is the reason.

I can ordered the Ti2000 half down for the front but I wonder if the front of the car will drop too much !!

If anything, lowering springs will be less reliable. This is because the OEM shocks are not too happy with being dropped fairly low. Coilovers, however, are meant for that and they also have dampening adjustment so you can soften them up if the ride is too rough. The ride might be a little rougher by default depending on your spring rates

looks good. I have F sport springs, it lowers the rear obviously, but the lifts the front a little, at least visually, for some reason. lol

definitely, it's hard to see the detail due to the sun shade. : ) I'm not looking for any coilovers yet, probably not soon.

Thank you! I live in New England, the road condition here is not that good. If the front is too low, my front bumper would have been cracked many times. sadly no, I installed it myself.
