Default Volk G25

Hey guys. I have been looking for info on this and cannot find any detailed answer in the threads so I just thought I would ask. I was planning to buy the Volk G25 Formula Silver black clear and did not know they are being discontinued. The sizes I was trying to purchase were 19x8.5 35mm front and 19x9.5 45mm rear. The vendor called and said last minute that the rear wheels were no longer in stock. They explained that on freight they did actually have four of the 19x8.5 35mm if I wanted. I was going to run staggered fitment on my 3is and wondered if I ran the 19x8.5 all around, it would look less aggressive than originally intended. I wanted a slight concave look for the wheel and was worried on taking the shot on these since they are costly. Or if it would still look good. I'm a little new to this so any info regarding this would help. Thanx.

Not gonna have a concave look to either set. From the other post build you posted even rear not that concave. Its gonna come down to do you really want these or find a better set with the concave look you want.

Agreed ^^^

Also depends on whether or not that specific wheel has a different facing for the 8.5 and 9.5 widths. A lot of wheel companies and specific wheel styles don't have different concavity for different widths, where others do. Depends on the specifics of the G25. Generally speaking, an 8.5" wheel won't have an aggressive concave face. There are certainly exceptions to the rule. I have a set of Dai Autobahn wheels in 18x8 that I use for winter and they're surprisingly concave for the size.

In all honesty, for that kind of money I'd want the exact fitment I was looking for with no compromise. Probably better to stick it out and get the fitment right. Some incredible wheels at that price point. Probably ones that look very similar to the G25.
