Default Need opinions on what brakes to buy

I currently own a 2014 Lexus is350 f sport with around 90,000 miles. I need to go ahead and do a brake flush and I thought I might as well replace my brakes since the dealership let me know I should replace them within the next year. Its that time now where I am deciding what to do. I need help figuring out if I should get new rotors along with brake pads when I do this. It will be my first time doing a brake job which does not bother me but I have no idea what to purchase since there are so many options. I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction of what to buy and if I should go ahead and do the rotors at the same time (I know a lot of people do this). I don't mind getting something other than OEM especially if it means less brake dust. Let me know what your thoughts are and please link the items you reference so I can find them!

You could get some ideas in the Suspension and Brakes sub-forum - https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sus...nd-brakes-250/

If you want less dust, Akebono makes some ceramic pads that are very common on 3IS.

GS350 F SPORT front brakes are good. Installed them on my IS since 2015.

Yeah I bet since the caliper is a bit bigger with a bigger rotor as well. I'm more specifically concerned about the pad.

Does anyone know if the IS250 F sport and non F sport caliper are the same part #?

I think you'd be able to tell visually pretty quickly - my non F sport has the one piston caliper, I believe everything else came with the 4 piston?

I found a seller selling these Hawk pads I became interested in. I just checked their website and the F sport and base use the same brake pad part number. You can click F sport and Base on the link below to confirm. The non F sport cars have a 4 piston brake caliper btw and I don't think they're different either. The difference is between IS 250 and 350 calipers.

I used ceramic pads on my other vehicles, and they definitely cut down on the brake dust. I would recommend those if brake dust bothers you.

If your rotors are original, I'd definitely replace them as well.
