The V-8 would be kind of the "you made it" reward, especially driving only 4 - cylinders my whole life, especially since they are doing away with them. I loved the GS model and was sad to see it go. It would have been the ideal in-between for me with kids. Would be nice if they brought it back with the V-8. But getting into the IS 350 at the 50K range would lessen the stress in a couple years when trying to scoop up a 500. Any of you have any tips or advice on best time to buy and when to get best deal. I am in no rush, but would like to get into one at least by year end. Thank again.
It really depends on your region. Some regions are still on their MSRP/Addendum mentality but other regions are offering cars under sticker already. Heck, a member recently bought an IS500 in Beverly Hills for $3000 under sticker. I think it’d be fair to offer the dealer anywhere between 5-8% off on the car and see what they say. Interest rates unfortunately are another thing and I don’t see those coming down any time soon.

damn that's a big hit for xtrmly LOW mileage!! Whr r u located? Got CPO 2015 is350 fSport rwd with red leather & 2 new front Michelins in south Cali in 2017 for around $35k. After investing in almost full PPF, 2 new rear Michelins, some light mods, new LCA bushings, shipped the car to FLori-duhhh. After not even regularly paced maintenance, 6 years later @ 38k miles, it still demands around ~$30k. Lexus of Tampa contacted Westminster Lexus, barely appraised it, offered $24k to buy it, and surprisingly honestly said they'd "list it for 'OVER' $30k". Posted earlier in this thread... also considering a CPO is500 or a nice 2023 is350 fSport rwd sitting in the showroom that i like - 19" wheels.

I'm close to Orlando. Anyone with experience in the Orlando area market for pricing? I am thinking to wait until those October or November sales to see if i get saving on newer vs. older year models. Or even pick up a fairly used if a significant discount. I know the used car market right now is almost the same or even crazier with pricing than new.

Good luck. You’ll need it. Lexus of Winter Park, and Orlando, both from the same owner, are the definition of scum. They’re still in markup mentality. They have a disclaimer on every vehicle online that says “MSRP is for reference only and is not representative of vehicle sale price”. Try traveling north to Lexus of Jacksonville or South to JM Lexus

You're pretty close - just drive to Tampa & ask for Yuni Diaz - pretty nice 2023 is350 fSport rwd for LESS than $49k, 19" wheels. The middle Iridium particularly caught my fancy. DM moi for more info or if you have any Qs. PS > there's also some is500s taken for test drives.

Thanks Lazer,

I'm actually going to wait until October so I'll have more cash, and also see if I get lucky with any new/old year model sales.

Anybody know if they're selling the black trim on the special edition separate yet or where I would be able to get the black trim on the 500?

So looks like like I'm getting a reasonable amount of cash for my TC sooner than I thought. Might be shopping this weekend for an IS 350. Prefer the Cloudburst gray. I know there is another thread for APRs but have you seen any deals in the FL area. I plan to visit the nearby dealerships this weekend. If the sale of the TC pans out, then I will be a serious shopper soon.

Ya, Lexus Tampa Bay has a bunch of is350 fSport RWD lined up & ready to hit d streets. 19" Wheels!! The Iridium in d middle w RED INTERIOR particularly caught my fancy. Ask for Yuni Diaz for a good deal - DM moi for his direct #. THINK you can negotiate down to LESS than $45k OTD.

I paid about 3500 under MSRP two months ago for a cloudburst/circuit 350 with a handful of options which ended up being 51k out the door including tax and license and title in Texas. 45k out the door would be awesome and I’d be jealous for sure good luck.

Im over 50 and have owned and driven a ton of cars, the IS is surprisingly addictive plus the end of an era. Is there even a single competitor with hydraulic steering left?

FL along with some other states has lower car prices in general, with CA & MT in the highest.

Assuming they're all 19" wheels, & RWD in TX, did ya ALSO get red interior, rear spoiler, & all the exterior accents like the Iridium in the pic i posted?
I made on offer on it, but they wanted to give me only $27k for mine Trade In.

Also FYI make sure you like how iridium looks in different light. On a cloudy day it’s beige for example.

Did you mean Atomic Silver? I would say Iridium is a clear silver even on a cloudy day. For example:

That's awesome. How hard did you have to negotiate? I don't care for any of the additional options, but not sure the easiest way if they are coming preinstalled.
