2023 IS350 update
#31
Finally found a few pictures of this new package online. Notice the black actually extends over the top of the grill vs ending at the hood, like in the initial illustration. That's a nice touch. I thought this package would be borderline hideous, but that subtle change actually makes it look okay imo. I still wouldn't buy this package myself though, as I honestly don't like Incognito.

Thanks for the pics! Overall it doesn’t look bad.
But as a whole, this “sportiness” on a 350 is an example of Lexus being out of touch with their customers. Sometimes they get it right, like coming out with a IS500. But most of the time, they don’t and I can point to numerous examples just in the last month.

So either the Tahara line royally screwed up, or the Lexus website is riddled with misinformation because 2023 IS350s (not the Design variant) are hitting dealer lots with chrome window trim rather than the advertised black trim...

On a dealer website it's almost impossible to find photos of actual new cars. Usually they use stock images for those, and take actual pictures only for used cars.

Autotrader has some and Lexus of Concord on Instagram has a whole video. I asked them and even they are confused as to why it came with chrome trim.

Just saw the post. I also think it's a 2022.
If it's truly a 2023 I was going to ask you how you knew it was a full F Sport and not a F Sport Design but I saw your comments. Hmmm that's some good detective work. Without seeing the tachometer though I really dont know if this is supposed to be a Design or F Sport. Lexus really complicated things this year.

This 2023 350 F sport also has chrome trim

My guess is there aren’t enough black trim pieces available or it’s too expensive to make. After all, one piece of black trim is $600 compared to the usual $120 for chrome. The bosses at Tahara probably were like “dafuq?” in Japanese when they saw the build sheet and said screw that.

My 2018 350 F-Sport came with all of this (in 2018 form) minus bigger wheels, for no extra money. If you price out just an F-Sport 350 with the DHP it's 3-4k more than a 2018 350 F-Sport that came with DHP standard.
