Default Aluminum vibration type noise

To whomever can help,

I recently bought a 2014 IS350 F sport with only 58k miles.

Very frequently when going up or down the RPM’s at 16-1700 RPM’s I’m getting an aluminum vibrating type noise. Vehicle runs fine, no engine vibrating, no leaking that I can see. Had it looked at a local shop, they heard what I hear, checked all the heat shields and found nothing loose. Is this a Harmonic balancer issue? Please help!

Get a rubber mallet and check for noises in the exhaust system with the engine off.

mine was a crack in the y pipe on the top side where we could not initially see. once replaced, it was fine.

had a similar problem it was a loose part of the exhaust from the catback attached to the header. added a new gasket and new bolts and it was back to normal
