electrical equipment restricted

electrical equipment restricted
Hey guys.
I have a lexus IS 250F SPORT 2014. This morning my car wouldn't start. I had this message in the dash: electrical equipment restricted
So My first guess was the battery. I changed it.
Still the same message and the car would not start. So I found here and in my owners book a sequence to do to reset the system.
But it didn't work.
I made a few calls and I was told to charge my new battery because they're not fully charged when you buy them and for the push button you need more power. So I did that.
Now its fully charge but I still have the same message and now my engine fan is on all the time like if my car was too hot 🤔
Do you guys have any tips? Tanks again
* sorry if I made a few mistakes with my English. I'm French canadian ☺

Disconnect the positive and negative terminals from the battery (basically disconnect the new battery). Charge that new battery independently WITHOUT it being connected to the car. Once its fully charged (shouldn't take that long since you say its already fully charged) THEN reconnect the battery to the car. Then try to start the car.

Tried it

Thanks.
I did that last night and it didn't work either.
I have a friend who's coming with a scanner. I hope it will show something. The OBD2 isn't showing any code.

Wow...Ok this is insane. I've never seen or heard of this, and have it NOT be a battery related issue. I hope this gets resolved for you. Sorry you're dealing with this. Keep us posted on the results.

@FredRobert I see you posted in an old thread as well. For now let's use this new one so folks don't contribute to multiple threads.
I haven't heard of this issue before either, but fingers crossed the dealer can fix it.
