oh wow thats terrible. Hope no one got hurt. Its hard to say how much that will cost bring it to a body shop there are too many things you cant see and wont be able to until they look around and start tearing it down.

Thanks. No one was hurt mainly just back pains. But I took it to my people they said insurance should write it off. Just on here to see if any Lexus people had any similar situation

Likely that will be totaled. If it was just quarter panel damage repair is feasible but you've got quarter, cross section, back panel, belly pan, tail lights etc. etc. also possibly fuel filler neck and electrical to sort out.

This happened to me 1 year ago but my rear fender wasn't bent in and my trunk was in tact. It was estimated around $6-8K worth of work. I feel like your car isn't totaled because IS's are generally above $20k. That doesn't look like $20k worth of damage.
Use a reputable body shop, not dealership provided. Make sure they use OEM parts too.

I had the exact same damage on a non-Lexus car. Mine did not have frame damage or suspension/tire damage--it was close, but they were able to repair the car.
From your last post, it sounds like you may have frame/suspension damage in addition to the damage the pics show. If that's the case, I fear your car might be totaled.

Thats totalled. They will write it off. No fixings on that. Sorry to hear. With the insurance money tho you can put that money down towards copping a new IS!!

Similar damage more extreme, gives an idea what is involved in such a repair.

That was a good video to watch. Amazing what he was able to do to that. Still looked like an unbelievable wheel gap, but maybe there were more parts to install. Took him 72 hours. That's crazy. Seemed like it would take him 2 weeks.
