2014 is250 to 350 swap
Hey everyone, looking for some advice on swapping a 350 motor into a 250. I’ve completed the swap mechanically speaking but I’m having some trouble getting it to start. I’ve traced the issue down to the ecu. I replaced it with a 350 ecu, the VIN numbers are different so the immobilizer doesn’t recognize it. Because of that the injectors aren’t firing. I’ve tried to find a way to rewrite it but no luck so far. I’ve seen other posts that say you can use the techstream software but not sure how to get an up to date version. The dealership can do it but not sure if they would do it on a 350 swapped car. I’ve also considered trying to reuse my 250 ecu since it would have the right VIN, just not sure if it would recognize the 350 engine. Any advice would really help, and if anyone else has questions about the swap I’d be happy to answer them if I can.

Is the 350 engine swap available?
Hi.
2014 is 250.
I am in Korea and I can buy 350 engines at a low price.
I am considering swapping with a 350 engine, is it possible to install with an engine and is350 ecu?
Will the engine mission be compatible like this?
And I think we need wiring connected to the engine.
When I looked it up on YouTube, there were about two successful swap cases.

I’m still getting everything sorted right now, the current issue is the fuel system. Can’t get the injectors to fire but the car will run on starting fluid. Everything is pretty much plug and play, you need to add the additional fuel line for the port injection. You’ll also need to get a custom driveshaft or swap in a 350 rear subframe and differential. Should be taking the car to the dealership soon to see if they can clear all of the permanent codes, hopefully that will solve the injector issue.
