Default Rear differential fluid change

How often should this be changed (mileage or time intervals) in a 2014 IS350 AWD? Also, what are people paying to have this service performed? Thanks in advance.

I just picked up a 2016 IS 300 last week and was told by the dealer the front and rear differential fluid needs to be changed soon. They said every 7yrs or 100,000KMS.

I called a couple Lexus dealers to find out pricing and some were charging close to $180 (Canadian dollars). Keep in mind this price is just for the front. Rear would be another $180.

Call a couple dealerships though cause I found one that was only charging $100.

Thanks for your response. Figured the cost would be in that ballpark. Guess I'm due for one.

I change mine every 60k. Would also change the breather valve while you do the fluid. Easy to swap and pretty cheap.

You can pay or do it yourself its very easy. Drain and fill is all thats done. If you havent done it before then you havent experienced the joy of smell of differential fluid.

Curious if anyone changed before the 30k. Only and 17k currently but was thinking about changing them when I’m doing next oil change this week. Same for the trans and t case.
I guess the the thought was break in and change it even early then this. Or it that not much a thing to worry about?
