Personally I want solid rotors. Drilled are a waste of time on the street and a possible future fail point. I don't even want slotted.

Same. I had drilled rotors when I was like 19 and they cracked between every hole. When my dad and I removed them and saw the condition we were sure I was only alive because God didn't want to take me yet. We did not understand how I didn't explode a rotor while braking in So Cal traffic, they were that bad. That was the one and only time I had drilled rotors.

the tom's exhaust shown in that cat is for the 350 and they system has been out for a min now; yes it has dual exhaust for the 350. there are members on this board that already have it. the bbk from tom's also is front only. I didn't see anything for the rears for the 500.

I hear ya. Solid offers more surface area, while drilled offers the advantage of better heat dissipation to the rotors/pads. Aesthetically, I find drilled 2-piece rotors and massive calipers really appealing and sporty looking.

Likely, because the rotors were drilled after they were cast and made. Rotors with the holes casted generally do not experience the cracking between the holes as you've described.

Also making full assortment of products for the platform:

Hopefully Apex'i can get distribution of all the parts.
Unfortunately based on the compatibility chart they have posted, they only call for the front calipers in the IS500. The rear does not appear to have an upgraded part, likely because of the EPB

I'm more interested in upgraded pads and then putting in some upgraded brake fluid like Motul, etc. Doing that to my Supra was all I needed to make it happy on the track.

Yep, just realized that after I posted. Here's to hoping they make a rear kit as well. Or maybe AP racing and Essex making both Front/Rear kits.

Seems like this will probably be the most cost effective and "effective braking" upgrade as well. Maybe if Girodisc can make 2-piece rotors, pads + fluids should make for decent uprated stopping power.
