I hope you are right. Either way, I am going over there in the morning. It has now been a full month. More than enough time for a small dent and the smallest of scrapes. It's getting ridiculous. I don't think my 2010 Camry was in the shop this long when it needed an entire new driver's side door (from being t-boned).

^^ I agree, we are all cheering for you!! If the car is not ready, get a tow truck and have it repo'd style retrieved it!! I hope you will enjoy the reunion and make sure you go out to burn that "old gasoline"

Yep! Finally... sorry I don't have the best photos yet. But, it looks great. Even the level of orange peel seems comparable to how it originally looked. I still had around $500 out of pocket when all was said and done, but alas. All in all, I'm just glad it's over.

My wife and I went out for boba tea right after. Since she drove me to the body shop, we had both cars out. It was a fun drive back home.

I've still not written a review yet, and I am considering just leaving it alone. From what I have seen the paint match is near-perfect, and other than putting the stupid Nalley Lexus logo back on the car, they didn't give me any reason to complain about the results they provided. However, the overall experience was stressful.

It is one of those situations where I couldn't honestly give them a 5- or even 4-star review, but it's complicated. Quality of work? 9/10 at least. Quality of customer service? Maybe a 3/10.

Anyway, I did happen to notice a small scratch on the driver's side front door as well, which I have mostly masked with a little clearcoat (from a previously-purchased touch-up paint kit) and some polishing. It's still visible, but very faint. Not sure if that came from the body shop or a random person passing by my car in a parking lot, but I do find it interesting...

I guess I will have to get comfortable with some level of nicks or wear and tear. I've said it before - I didn't buy this car to make it a museum piece. I intend to use it!
