First damage - tree branch fell on the quarter panel
#121
I've still not written a review yet, and I am considering just leaving it alone. From what I have seen the paint match is near-perfect, and other than putting the stupid Nalley Lexus logo back on the car, they didn't give me any reason to complain about the results they provided. However, the overall experience was stressful.
It is one of those situations where I couldn't honestly give them a 5- or even 4-star review, but it's complicated. Quality of work? 9/10 at least. Quality of customer service? Maybe a 3/10.
Anyway, I did happen to notice a small scratch on the driver's side front door as well, which I have mostly masked with a little clearcoat (from a previously-purchased touch-up paint kit) and some polishing. It's still visible, but very faint. Not sure if that came from the body shop or a random person passing by my car in a parking lot, but I do find it interesting...
I guess I will have to get comfortable with some level of nicks or wear and tear. I've said it before - I didn't buy this car to make it a museum piece. I intend to use it!
