Glaring mistake on GTHaus and Apex'i midpipes? - help/opinions appreciated!
I'm still considering exhausts believe it or not but came across something odd about the GTHaus and Apex'i catbacks. On the stock midpipe, there's a bend in the driver's side pipe that looks like it exists to properly clear one of the brackets around the oil drain pan area (I think). The passenger side doesn't have this bend presumably because there's enough clearance. I can understand that this car is not perfectly symmetrical on the underbody. However, on the GTHaus and Apex'i, they've put the bend in the pipe on the passenger's side. For the life of me I can't figure out why, especially if tolerances are so tight that Lexus had to put the bend on the other side while keeping the passenger side straight.
My question is, does anyone with these GTHaus/Apex catbacks have any noise (rattling/rubbing/grinding) coming from under the car during hard turns or cornering? What is the chance this is a design mistake?

I think you're looking at it wrong. Rotate the top photo 90 degrees clockwise and both bends are on the same side.

No rubbing or fitment issues with these.

Zero issues with the Apexi midpipe. Definitely go ahead and get it or the GT Haus - no way you’ll regret it.

Which exhaust are you leaning towards? I want to make my decision this week. Pay more money for the GTHaus or get the Bazooka... I wanted something valved. I'm leaning toward the GTHaus.

We'll work you a deal on the current sale price from GTHAUS. Thats the most popular exhaust right now, feel free to contact us.

I have the full APEXi catback and that’s not an issue on my car.

One of the first GTHaus on my car- no fitment issues and almost 6k miles on the setup already. I do recommend and this was a recommendation from @specONE is to get stiffer hangers for the axleback portion (only area with hangers); you'll need 6. We both used Torque Solutions 12mm, not extended.

FYI- you may already know this, that picture above of the mid pipes, they’re upside down. You need to turn it over and see that the bend you’re pointing out would be on the other side. 😁
