Wireless CarPlay
#16
I bought a Carlinkit adapter and am returning it due to the delay when switching songs. Audio quality sounded to same as wired to me but that delay is annoying.
Does anyone know of a wireless car play adapter that has no lag when switching tracks or audio delay when say watching YouTube on your phone (if one even exists)? May just be the limit of the adapter using a Wifi signal.

After having sent back the previous 4 wireless CarPlay adapters I’ve FINALLY found a decent product. This one has native Android OS so can use your infotainment screen as an Android tablet. Boot up speed isn’t nearly as bad as others and once up & running it’s only slightly laggier than using wired approach.
Main annoyance is haven’t fully mastered forcing it to boot up into wireless CarPlay every time … sometimes it’ll start up with the Android OS tablet interface and then have to back out into CarPlay. But using the Android OS honestly isn’t bad as you can use Netflix, YouTube, internet browser, etc thru your infotainment screen (should be stationary of course).
