I’ve been receiving conflicting info on fitment. Spoke to 2 people at BBS and one was understandably cautious when giving advice considering clearance isn’t as good as an F car. The other flatly stated that they didn’t make a LM that would fit so I’m rightly confused. Once I get confirmation of fitment, these will go on. Works are nice too but I’ve always wanted the LM’s.
Did you ever get clarity on this?
I am having the same dilemma with a different BBS wheel. I'm a bit torn...
The stock 19"s sit fine and I don't notice the wheel gap as much (stock), but if I'm paying to go aftermarket (and BBS no less), 20"s do seem to fill out the wheel wells better.
I have an uphill driveway and just barely clear right now coming up/down from/to the street... lowering will not be an option for me. I think the aftermarket 19"s look good with a slight drop, but I won't be able to do the latter, which is making me consider 20"s with stock suspension.

What size tires would you use for 20's? I'd be worried about going thinner than stock tires, I wonder how much it's going to affect ride quality.
this is the bbs product catalog from bbs japan website for the LM, as well as a pic i found of an IS on LMs i have no idea on the sizing of them. there are sizes of wheels that bbs usa website does not list as available but should be available from an authorized dealer

haha...and some ppl call me an hole for providing feedback about issues that customers/members were having with a product they co-sign, though I never identified the product as lacking quality. i believe that there are quality products available, but none (or maybe the brands) that fits to your likings. don't get me wrong, i'm hoping other coil over options become available, but the lack of options is definitely not hindering the mods for my bucket.

lol he had me confused as well as I think there’s a decent amount of aftermarket support for it. I mean even it could be true none fit his liking but I find that a bit hard to believe. Then again modifying cars ain’t for everyone and I can respect that. Car is still fairly new to the market. Just gotta give it time.

Maybe in comparison, there isnt much aftermarket support for the IS. I came from a tacoma and there is ENDLESS possibilities.
I will say since I bought the 500 in August of last year, I have seen more and more support each month, not a ton but its there. its coming, just gotta be patient.

imagine buying it in 2022...most of Q1 and Q2 2023 was very limited!!! there's a good amount at this time and i'm content at the moment.

Haha, I don't go crazy with mods, but that would drive me insane. I'm a suspension and FBO kind of guy. But you've got this super capable/popular platform and you can't customize it. Even my 2006 from back in the day had a decent aftermarket support when I bought it new

My car and a few others were his R&D cars just so the coupes had something lol. I’m glad when I got the IS500 in July 2023 there was some parts already lol. Just hurting from how much everything costs.
