I think toyota/lexus did it cuz is stronger, maybe they found something we don't know when they tested vehicles on the new test track lol...

It is a hassle. When I think wheels, I immediately think about Work, and ALL of their wheels are only drilled to fit M12 bolts 😅. Luckily the machining to get the Work wheels to M14 was very minimal, but it still took an extra step.
