That is a good idea, I'll give them a call tomorrow. I ended up buying wheel/tire protection package for 60 months for $1650. This will not qualify for coverage though

Definitely agree that would be more durable, maybe even a black paint pen. Hopefully the parts dept can help, I usually get a puzzled lost look from them.

Installed some locking lug nuts. My local Lexus parts department knew nothing about them, kinda weird. I got them from Otis Inc Locking Lug Nuts .

I called them yesterday and told them about what had occurred. They had no suggestions. So I said I'd like to order a touch up paint of the Cloudburst Gray color. They asked what my VIN was. I said my VIN won't help as my car is iridium. She said she needs that to look it up. I said you really can't look it up any other way? She said besides, every time they have ordered touch up paint it take three months to arrive. So I said I'll get it from another company, there are many that sell touch up paint. I then ended the call. Completely useless. So, I shopped online and ordered it from Paint2Fix which comes in a pen. One side is a pen dispencer while the other is a brush for larger scratches/marks. It also come with clearcoat to put over the touch up paint once it dries. It was $36 including shipping. It arrives on Tuesday.

I hate how they always ask for your VIN number. I know it's to more perfectly match the parts to your vehicle but in your case it didn't matter and someone might be ordering for another car or don't know the VIN, just makes it more difficult .

why wouldn’t this qualify? You get up to 6 cosmetic fixes with my wheel and tire package.

I meant it is a tiny chip of half a mm or less so it is not worth trying to claim anything. I'd rather claim when its really an issue.

Every day before I get into my car, I check if my baby got door dinged by my neighbor. Then check if there’s bird poop on it. After that, warm up the engine and start driving. 😆 Am I the only one like that? Haha

me too. , another thing for me is the destination that I need to go to, does it have good safe parking? The chance of idiot drivers? and who will be in my car? will determine if I take the 500 out or not, lessons learned from my old 350

All. Those. Parts. 😂👏🏽

The one exception, I remote start mine first and then take the elevator down the 5 floors.

Not enough to make anyone fall out. 😂 Our condo’s parking garage is huge, about 20 spaces where my car is parked. Then another 30 when I go up the next level to the security gate.
