What have you done to your IS500 today?

On these cars the two tells are the stacked exhaust and the hood bulge not the IS 500 badge. Unless you are parked no one can see the badge and likely will have very little / no time to see the hood or exhaust as they drive past. I'd leave the badge on.

Ah…so you haven’t seen the new trend. The 300s and 350s are fitting their cars with the quad exhaust nowadays. (I’ve seen some talk about getting the 500 hood as well. I don’t see how that’ll work…)

Oh jeez. I've seen the quad exhaust on non 500's, but the hood? Haha, anything to look the part I suppose. Haha.

I have seen the quad exhausts on regular IS's when I was in Chicago and at least once here in Austin. But they were side by side not stacked. Either way it doesn't really bother me. It reminds me of putting Cobra badges on base V6 Mustangs. It's basically the same thing.

LOL!! I troll the Japanese IG accounts and many of their 300s are modded with quads. It’s an anathema to us here, but not over there. 🤷🏽♂️

Yeah, us as owners know about the hood bulge, the quad exhaust and even the F Sport badge with the black background vs white but the average Joe is clueless. One of my friends that has a 350 commented "oh you bought an IS like mine" ! I was like, uh, yeah but no! I wish these cars had something on the side, a scoop like the RCF.
