What have you done to your IS500 today?

Just drove a bit, feels a little more responsive from a stop and also when the flap in the air box opens it's doesn't sound as deep and loud. Overall happy with it so far.

I'll correct myself :
-----
TOMS Racing
Suction Intake Pipe (Carbon Fiber)
Reduces intake resistance and improves engine response. Optimal pipe shape reduces intake resistance and improves engine response. The pipe body uses buffed aluminum to improve durability and reliability.

Just my .02: An intake being quieter and improving engine response seems sort of... unconventional? Disclaimer: I'm all for mods anyone likes whether it's noise, speed, looks, peace of mind, etc - I don't care. Do what you like!
Toyota put so much work into perfecting the GR V6 and UR V8 through their lifecycles... I would think optimizing an air intake would be one of the most basic starting points? Intakes that do improve performance tend to be louder, not quieter, with more surface area to increase air flow, and often the elimination Helmholtz resonators.
Tom's has a great reputation though, so I know it's a quality product. Just curious what makes it different and better than stock

drove more with it and it’s definitely louder. Just not as deep intake sounding as stock.
the stock elbow is ribbed so not sure how much if any the Toms elbow does being fully smooth. Quality product, looks nice.

Haha! You and me both. I just got mine broken in last week and now have about 786 miles. I've given it the beans a few times but am terrified that Johnny Law is gonna be waiting behind every building, overpass, or hill I pass. It does sound glorious, though.

It’s the Tom’s brace. Has holes for the AVS rubber grommets to fit in so looks factory.

- Shortly after purchase: Window tint and front/rear/interior dash cam.
- Last Monday: Had PPF for rear bumper, lower wheel arches behind the wheels, and the door handle wells installed. Installed the first sticker I've ever put on any car I've owned on the lower left of the rear glass (attached).
- Yesterday: Replaced floor well lights with blue LEDs, replaced puddle lights with new assemblies that have a panel of LEDs rather than a single bulb, replaced vanity lights and trunk light with 6000K LEDs.
- Next week: Installing rim savers, replacing front driver and passenger door sill scuff plates with OEM illuminated plates, and mounting my battery RPlate.
- Next on the list: Replace shift paddle assemblies with AutoTecknic Competition Shift Paddles, order and install oil and trans. coolers, then start serious research on aftermarket brakes systems and K40 or Uniden R9.
I can't help myself - I haven't had this much fun buying and installing (or having installed) things for a car since I was a teenager. Front and rear braces will probably make the list soon as well. I've considered exhaust and intake, but currently have no desire to make changes to the amazing sounds this car already makes.
