First wash after the ceramic coating. Also learned that the gas door locks when car is locked.

iPhone kind of overexposed the “after” pic for some reason. It’s a good bit darker in person.

Is that the bamboo trim piece?

It's the "Ash" wood trim from the IS 350 DHP package and IS 500 Launch Edition -- is that the same as the bamboo?

Glad to see you ended up doing it. I guess I should’ve mentioned it in my PMs about this, but when you did the front pieces it might’ve been helpful to put foam tape on the backside. I had the dealer put some on my passenger side because it rattled. Looks great

There is no bamboo. The bamboo trim that appeared on some dealer websites was a misprint.

Thanks for the advice - not sure why the front pieces haven't shipped yet, but I'm waiting for them and can tape them before installing them.

Interesting to me that the wood piece is much, much thicker than the original plastic piece. It probably weighs 3-4x as much and is more substantial.

Had some free time today and decided to install the TOMS Front Strut Bar that’s been sitting in my garage for a few weeks now.

Very nice. Curious to hear how you're liking it once you've had a chance to drive it a bit.

I’ve had the chance to drive the car as I take the backroads to my job. The steering feels much more weighty. The front end feels stiff in normal mode. In sport s+ I can’t tell much of a difference. Only in Eco and Normal. I personally like it as it fixed the sloppy feeling the steering had.

Man I am having Speed Withdrawal's... It's freezing cold in Michigan & snow my car just sits in the garage. I either drive the Highlander or Mazda 3 around town. I literally have to wait until late April or early May...
