Finally got the AS4's on along with the new wheels.

Dirty garage pic, it's been raining all week

Honestly, it's like driving a completely different car.
No slippage even in low temps, way less "harsh" ride and mostly, the rear doesn't wander left to right when going over bumps anymore. I didn't thought it was the tires, but looks like it was!
Haven't been on the highway yet with them, but I only predict positive on there also.

Noise levels good too?

You're making it tough for me lol I can't decide between AS4 or Pirelli AS 3.

Holy crap, obviously!!! 😂

That level of insolence would’ve triggered the devil in me. I don’t know how he would’ve manifested, but he’d make an appearance. 😈😜

Even on 80 degree days I feel the stock Bridgestones don't feel good. That's after the tires are nice and warmed up too.

I had AS Potenzas on my old G35 and G37. They were great.

Maybe they should have put these on at the factory.

::womp:: ::womp::

Turned into the rear entrance of the gas station and didn’t see the broken pavement. 🙄 Filed the hazard warranty claim, but had to purchase the tire through DiscountTire. TireRack is out of stock and ‘might’ get more in within a week or so. DT will have it on Tuesday.

1. Luckily the hazard warranty allows for purchases outside of TireRack.

2 Thank God we have an actual spare and not a fix-a-flat kit.

It was! Felt the dip, then all I heard was whistling air.

Worst part, I was just at Lexus yesterday for my 25K mile service and I instructed them to re-balance the tires. Oy.

The car would be horrible with those tires from the factory. They are autocross specials. Lots of grip quick but they're loud and pick up every pebble that exists on the road. Fantastic for competition purposes, totally over the top for a daily driven tire. They'd also be even worse in cold temperatures or the wet.

Actually they are not worse than the crappy Lexus Potenza's we get in any condition from freezing temps on up, rain, etc. I had the Potenza RE-71R & currently have the Yokohama A052's on my Supra and I never feel the car step out ever in the areas the IS 500 does with the crappy Potenza S001L's we got. As of now I will be putting the RE-71RS on my Supra next. They would be an upgrade in terms of grip in the poor temps or rain for an IS 500, but they will absolutely pick up all the tiny pebbles so that would be bad. 20 coats of wax and/or PPF should help.

I used them on my autocross Miata. Not a chance in hell I'd run em as a daily tire on a heavy car like the IS500, especially one that encounters freezing temps or heavy rain. I thought they even had a warning not to expose them to freezing temperatures.
