A point of clarification, based on what I have seen.

carbonguards.com = legit

thecarbonguards.com = scam

Update: Got legitimate USPS Tracking number for the order. Looks like this outfit is legitimate, compared to the other site.

Same here, I got mine two days ago. installed them today. after reading this forum, i emailed them at support@carbonguards.com to check on shipping status, they got back to me and provided an accurate ship date. in any event, I am happy to have extra paint protection especially since I have the wheel spacers installed.

OCJACKAL,
Did you use the thicker spacer for the top and smaller spacer for the bottom on the rear mudguard? Also, did u place them between the guard and liner or between the liner and frame of the car?

Yes, I used the thicker spacer on the top and smaller on the bottom. I placed the spacers between the back side of the mudguard, and the black liner.

It says you have to remove the wheel or jack the car up to get leverage to push the pins back in… is that accurate or can it be done without all that?

Yes it can be done w/o all that, but you will need a ratchet or sized 10 fixed crescent wrench.

Doh, never mind, the tab goes into the existing hole of the frame first

They look like small air brakes, not for me.

Is Carbon Guards still in business? I attempted to email them about restock but have not heard back, and after checking random cars they appear to be sold out and haven’t posted on Instagram in ages. Would like a set before winter arrives.

is there any other options out there?

I've been watching their website waiting for them to restock the flaps but all I've noticed is that the price has gone up 3 times.
