Per our forum rules, solicitation and promotion of items for sale is not allowed except by approved vendors. As such, I kindly ask that we keep sales questions and discussion out of this thread. Let's keep it on topic of Q&A, feedback, and discussion of the bumper issue only. Thanks in advance for keeping the discussions on track.
Wow. Thanks for sharing this. This seems like a elegant solution! Do you recommend doing this as a preventive measure since mine has not separated yet.

Personally, I'll probably buy a set. But not use it unless I start seeing separation. If it ain't broke, don't fix it applies here I think. The separation was just aesthetic, the bumper won't just fall off so I think it's fine to wait. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Renault - I did the exact same thing. For me, the gap is barely noticeable for NOW but I wanted to have the parts available and on hand in case it gets worse and for whatever reason, these would no longer be available down the road. We are extremely blessed that this was developed for us, and I see in the 300/350 thread that they are having a similar issue. Crazy that we have to look after ourselves that way, but fortunate that at least we have a working solution rather than duct tape or using 5 sticks of chewing gum

So do would we do this for just the drivers side or do you do it on the passenger side also?

^^ The kit comes with parts for both sides but I am just going to the driver side when it gets worse. I have not seen any evidence that the passenger side has separated but I could be proven wrong.

I'm of the mind of don't mess with it if it isn't broken too. Maybe it will happen eventually maybe not. Same goes for the passenger side, I'd just leave it alone if it isn't separating. I haven't seen anyone post a picture of the passenger side separating.

So is Lexus just going to pat themselves on the back for their "fix" and move on? No issues with mine yet but will probably consider buying some of these as insurance.

I also wonder if some employee at Lexus will copy this as their homework, turn it in and take credit

I don’t have the issue, but I went to order it. I’m happy and sad to say it’s out of stock.

New Lexus TSB - "buy this 3d printed part off Etsy and install"

Out of stock now or I'd pick a set up. Will keep an eye on it

So happy it sells well, it shows there is an appetite for it, plus that the developer will make some profit for his time! I am equally happy my kit is safely en route from the good ol' US of A

I may never need but i will sleep better knowing i have a kit in case...

I am confident that there will more stock coming up so hang in tight folks (unlike your front bumpers) lol
