I think what you mean is, the dealers are lazy and just used stock images.

I disagree. Not everyone is a pro photographer. If ppl used their own pic, the app would like like crap and Lexus needs to control the UI for the sake of brand image.

Can confirm that I received a letter a couple days ago about the second key. Apparently I was the first person to call my local dealership because they didn’t quite know what to do.
according to the letter, it asked me to call my dealership to order a key, then once received an appointment will be booked to get it replicated.
I'm not sure if this was stated somewhere else in the thread, but if you exit your car while it is running you can't lock it from outside the car with your FOB. This runs contrary to the car turning off when opening it after remote start for anti theft purposes. Someone might walk away thinking their car is locked, but since it cannot lock while on with the FOB, it's just unlocked and running. I probably also wouldn't care as much if the FOB remote start timing wasn't so finnicky. Not a deal breaker or anything, but just a minor annoyance.

Yeah. I cropped it out of my image above, but I see the same thing. I was just in for service, and I was told that I'd be notified when the key is ready and to make and that I'd need to make an appointment to get it programmed.
Here's a petty complaint: the icon for the car in the app is atomic silver on Enkeis regardless of what you own, nor can I edit the image or upload my own. I used to not care but if you own a late model TTRS, Audi's app will have an icon with your car's actual color.
I actually notice that as well lol. I used to have a Irdiuim IS350 and it had the photo of the car and now with atomic silver IS500 and black enkeis, it just has a blank image of some other lexus model

The Lexus UX seems to be the default model. I see it briefly while the app is loading. Maybe yours is not fully loading the page.
Also on my My Lexus page, I see a white IS 300. Luckily not in the app, at least!
