could be user error but I’ve never gotten traction in blast off with these tires. It never hooks

Not user error, those things were horrible off the line from jump. I wanted to dump them right before 1k miles, but convinced myself it was wasteful. Damn that… I waited until 7k miles to get my PS4S’ and that was 6k miles too long! 😂

Friends don’t let friends ride on $hyt tires.

Tires that aren't crazy grippy can also be fun. Not saying don't replace the OEM tires, I want to do the same, just saying going to the grippiest tires possible isn't always the best choice. Being able to get the tail out at not insane speeds is fun.

::heehee:: Yes…on a closed course where if my tail out shenanigans goes awry, it’s all good. But I live in the ‘let’s go from a dig’ space and need maximum traction. 😜

Nothing wrong with the PS4S. I was talking about the tires that are even grippier and are completely useless on the street unless you want to just fling rocks at everyone.

I remember being like this lol. RE71 on my track/daily civic. Threw rocks everyone. Hated cleaning the undercarraige tho.

Definitely not user error! I got on it hard yesterday and it spun through first so I ahifted at about 6000 RPM and the shift broke traction even more and made the tail of the car wiggle a couple times! These tires are horrible.

I'm at ~9200 miles now and Winter is coming, mine might be getting swapped soon. I dont have any wear issues though and there's a healthy amount of tread left so now my tight *** side is coming out lol.

Transmission kick even when the car is already warmed up is what I don't like the most. Even when I let it idle and car warms up still at downshift you can feel the kick. I wish it wasn't like that. The other thing is I wish it had auto folding mirror!

I don't like how effortless it is to go way over the speed limit without noticing ! I see a speeding ticket on the horizon .

Default Mute Button?

So far there's not much to NOT like but I'm thinking there's not a mute button for the radio, or at least not one that I've found as of yet. This is kind of a bummer as I use this often in my other cars. If there's one I'm missing please let me know!

Default Mute Button!?

Hold down the “Mode” button, that will mute the radio.

Awesome thank you!!! I knew there just HAD to be a way! Even a seasoned sales rep at my somewhat local dealership didn't know! Thanks again!

The fact that the IS's dont have power folding mirrors in the US, Canada, Mexico, but is offered in Saudi Arabia, Japan, and other countries irks me.. I am still working on finding out if the wire harness is the same and if it would be plug and play if I got the parts from out of the country...

Also agree that if you remote start, it should stay on even after you open the door.
