Yeah this is my go-to way to mute anything, radio or other sources.

Tried holding down the Mode button and it does work but it's not really a "mute" button. It just pauses the audio then you have to press play again on the touch screen to restart. It's an "ok" work around though. Just crazy that there's no official "mute" button.

Just press the power button on the radio

haha…come on!!! Ppl so used to creature comfort buttons and forget the *****. Reminds me of the lady that called 911 saying she was stuck in her car cause the unlock button wouldn’t unlock the car. The operator ask if she used the manual latch and unlocked the door.

Won't this power off Nav/Waze and all other non radio functions? Not a good option in my opinion.

It won't. You can also press the pause/play button. It's in the manual.

After a couple weeks with my 2024 IS500 I'm still l learning the car but I must say I was on the highway the first few days of ownership and the guy in front of me slammed on his brakes, I did the same and thought I was going to hit him but the IS stopped. Amazing brakes as far as doing what it's supposed too!

The Mark Levinson is a rattling mess. Rattles from every side. My CX-5 with Bose had a better, tighter sounding system after dialing it in with no rattles compared to this car.

What rattles are you talking about? I have one that I've noticed, but I don't think it's ML related. I have a rattle, from what sounds like, in the center console near the shifter.

Yeah, I don't have any rattling issues with the ML. Sounds fantastic.

I've not noticed anything that can be described as rattles either and think the Mark Levinson sounds great! I do, however, agree that Bose is the best of them all. (in my opinion).

I only hear rattles related to the speaker volume. I may have to take it into the dealer once I do some preliminary searching where all the speaker rattles are coming from. I hear rattling from the rear sub area and what seems like the B pillars when volume level is above 42+ on certain songs. I've tried adjusted my audio settings balance/fade (2 clicks to rear), turning down my bass to +1 and mids to +1 which has has helped along with turning surround sound on, but the rattling is still present

Yeah it should not be doing that. I think my car has fewer rattles when the sound is turned up!

Having said that, I feel like 42 is a pretty high number... mine rarely goes above 25, if I am being honest. But, it all depends on the audio source. 25 on the radio would be very loud indeed, but 25 playing audio from my phone is just loud enough to beat out the road noise on the highway.
