Oh man. I saw an M6 in this color today. In my head it looked way better than in real life.

Can't believe it's October and no confirmation of details of the next year model.

Sadly the owner's manuals still aren't up so it may possibly be another 2-3 weeks before we hear anything, if not longer. I'm hoping its not the case but if you look at the 2023 RC for example, Lexus didn't do the MY change until January 2023 so we may have to wait even longer than just October

Fair enough! I was waiting for the 2024 to decide what I want to do. I was hoping for either 1- new colors (Nori Green), 2- update to infotainment, 3- the 10-speed transmission from the LC500. I know number 3 is unlikely but would be a total winner with it. My Lexus dealer has a '23 in stock, offered me 2K discount on it so it's enticing so wondering if I should wait it out or just take it because new one doesn't have that much changes?

Truthfully the leaks have all but officially confirmed that the new color is a bright blue and there will be no infotainment updates, so I would take the 2023 at 2K off. But I understand the stigma behind buying a MY car at the end of the MY so it might be worth waiting for you.

I would say if the 2023 car is the right color and equipment, you shouldn't hesitate. I'd buy the first IS500 I can get my hands on that fits what I'm looking for.

Does Lexus announce when they discontinue a model? Also wondering about the IS350.

Being that 2 and 3 definitely aren't happening, the new color is another blue, and the 2024 MSRP is increasing, that 2023 with the discount is a really good deal if you like the color.

I have a 2023 IS500 in Iridium and I'm happy with it, but I think Lexus would be insane to change anything about the car at this point. I don't expect anything more than the typical "special edition" limited to a few colors in a polarizing paint color.

Just make the change already. This car will get the same treatment as the LS 500.

Yeah. The sooner they stop selling this car the sooner our values go up. Like the GS F.

When Toyota killed the Land Cruiser they announced it right before Christmas - then produced for 6 months or so in the final year (2021). In this case I'd bet you are going to see the name plate move to an EV that compete with the Model 3. Wild prediction - bring back the GS to compete with the Model S or 60-70k price point car. The GS was iconic when it arrived and put Lexus on the map.

I think they'll probably start a brand-new nameplate for their EV sedan, like they did with the RZ. I could be wrong. Maybe an "IZ".

In any case, it's been all but confirmed that the IS is returning for 2024. We just don't have any public announcement on the changes yet.

Agreed - I meant for 2025. I don't see them selling many units in 2024 - so I would not be surprised if inventory is very front loaded in the year before they allocate the assembly line to a unit that moves quicker.

You would think, but Lexus did add a touch screen and Apple CarPlay only to the 2023 GX.
