Meh, none of those impact me. I'm not a sunroof person, I never used the sunshade on my C63 other than as a novelty, and the steering wheel distance is perfect for me.

As for calling the LC500 the ultimate secretary's car, I have no clue how anybody who has heard one in person can say that. If I had the money, I'd buy one in a heartbeat.

If it's a secretary's car they are pretty well paid. I love the LC 500, I just wish they did the LC F as long ago rumored with the TT V8. I considered buying one but I don't need two 2 door cars so that and the RC F was out of contention for that reason. The LC 500 did influence my color choice as I would not have considered Infrared it if were not for the LC 500 and the perfection it is on that car.

I'm pretty sure Mac was sarcastically calling out misogyny. Why else for the utterly ridiculous and unnecessary post?

Exactly. I knew all along you were a sushi aficionado.

EDIT: Boy that 2024 IS500 will be something. I'm excited about having the "final edition" with the black chrome on the mirrors. Definitely the 2024 is the year to get (unless there's a 2023 available in the livery you want).

Well here we are in fiscal year 2024. Hopefully news comes out soon. All 500s have disappeared from my dealer's website. I so badly want one. Ultrawhite with Circuit Red please!

I ordered a 2024 vehicle, but they received a 2023 of the same configuration. Go for it or wait around for when the 2024 will become available?

Hard decision. You would probably get a great deal but there is the 0.5% chance that the 2024 could have an updated infotainment or an upgrade that is actually worth it. I honestly don’t know what I would do.

someone on FB said 2024 IS300 spec sheet has wireless CarPlay and Android Auto. Could be a typo or Lexus could update the infotainment.

Yeah I'm pretty sure the black chrome is going to be where the bright chrome used to be. The top of the mirror would still be black, right?

If it’s the exterior/interior colour combination you wanted, I’d say go for it. There’s no telling when your dealership is going to get the same allocation for the 2024 MY.

The same thing happened to me. I ordered a 2024 MY, but received a 2023 MY mid September instead. I thought I’d be missing out on a lot of things but after I sat on the driver’s seat, I can’t help but drive the vehicle everyday — even if it’s just going around the neighbourhood.

When it comes to buying cars, my rule is the sooner you get it, the earlier you obtain satisfaction.

I have a 2023 RX350h and find the wireless carplay to be buggy. It won't sync half the time and I would have to turn on and off bluetooth then reconnect through the dash. Faster to just plug it directly in and get a charge while I'm at it.

This is why I shelved the wireless dongle I bought. It only saved about 1 1/2 minutes in connectivity vs the wired. Some have said they like to leave the phone in their pockets. In my opinion, if you don’t want your ‘boys’ developing two heads or two tails, then quit it. 😜

Seriously…I have too many apps for work running, so the phone has to stay charged. The odds of Lexus adding a charging pad to this gen is highly unlikely, so what’s the point?
