I am a big fan of Miami Blue and Porsche / BMW have some great blues in their pallet.

I was very close in ordering a BMW with Mexico Blue (renamed as Daytona Beach Blue) and here is recent picture of the BMW blues.

2022 Launch Edition sucked
2023 Molten Special Appearance package sucked less
2024 Toyota Blue package sucks a little more than 2023

LSB is a great exterior shade. BMW has been denying LSB individual requests for the current platform and there are rumors that BMW might be using that color for the final ICE M3/4 edition due to the associated history.

It does matter though because it's not exclusive. I'm not saying it renders the car unsellable or undesirable, I'm just saying it detracts from its specialness when the same color is found on other Toyota products.

Because that's what Lexus decided to do. They're still unique among the IS500 world as they're the only versions with the two tone interior. It seems like Incognito was quite popular so they decided to offer it more broadly.

you mean two different material interior? they already make two tone interiors readily available in the other colors (ie white/black, brown/black and the red/black).

It's only on the non-F-Sport models as far as I can tell from the press release.

IS 300
For 2024, IS 300 will add the F SPORT Design grade in both RWD and AWD configurations. F SPORT Design will include exterior styling elements including a 19-inch F SPORT alloy wheel and F SPORT Design badging. The IS 300 F SPORT grade receive the same exterior styling, with the addition of F SPORT interior cabin enhancements like heated/ventilated front seats, aluminum pedals and an F SPORT heated steering wheel. For 2024, Grecian Water exterior paint will only be available on IS 300 non-F SPORT models.

Only 150 now but just wait for Lexus to do the same thing they did to the LE cars and offer it as a standard color lmao.

Ironically they weren't limited at all. I haven't checked the spreadsheet at all in a long time, but last time I checked, LEs were the most common spec IS500 out there. And Lexus did it completely wrong because what they shouldve done is produce the LEs sequentially and before all the other IS500s because that way you could actually say car #420 was 420 to be made, but instead they numbered them ***** nilly and car 420 may very well be car number 5 or even car number 800. It makes no sense how they did it.

@macmaster talks a LOT of crap (sorry bud, I love you) but the biggest truth he has ever said is that the LE 500s were a rip off and that they weren't exclusive, and with Lexus making incognito a standard color they basically confirmed the point he's been making for 2 years. Hey Macmaster, tell me what stocks to invest in since you can see the future.

I completely disagree. The LE is the only one with the two material interior and for all the comments about the plaque and production order, it's still the only one with a plaque and that is reflected on the used market. Even macmaster, with his neverending cynicism, acknowledged as much. For the price difference, I think it was worth it. I will admit that it was a **** off to see Lexus offer the Incognito color more broadly. It really shows that when Lexus says exclusive or special, they just mean for that given moment.
