Last week it told me that nothing was found for all 2024 IS', but this week it shows a Emergency Response Guide assigned to the 2024 IS300, IS350, and IS500. I suspect we are a couple of weeks away before I'll be able to grab the owner's manuals for the car, but this is a sign that the good old 2UR lives on for at least one more year. I'll update this thread once I eventually get the owner's manuals or any additional info.
Can't wait for an update. I'm still waiting on my IS500 allotment but will gladly wait if we new infotainment like the LC500.

I would bet money that it won’t happen.

This is correct, there are no plans to update the infotainment in a similar style to the update on the LC for next year IS.

From what information I can get (I work in auto industry), the IS will be redesigned as a Model Year 2026, but no indications if the IS will include the 500 or not. They expect the IS to be discontinued after the 2030 Model Year....prob for some EV piece of crap, but I bet that will change.
The LC has a redesign for the 2024 Model Year, more like a refresh to me, and will continue on for more years.

U.S. registrations figures as of May 2023 (not production, so these are actually IS500's bought and on the road in the U.S.) show 2,263 IS500's with the highest volume going to the Perf Prem trim for the 2023 Model Year. 2023 Model Year registrations are about twice the volume of 2022 Model Years as of now, so that's a good sign it could continue for a while.

I agree, more of a refresh. From what I saw, the new infotainment will be in the 2024, but that’s mostly it. Because it’s Lexus, I’m sure there will be some tweaks to other internals.

I'd also like to see a heads up display added to the 2024 IS500...that's really all it is lacking outside the infotainment with wireless Carplay

I can't imagine much outside of an infotainment upgrade. Wireless would be an easy add, but i doubt we'd see a HUD. that would take a retooling and redesign of the dashboard. my speculation is that if there is ANY refresh it would be like they did to the GX (mainly info) before the redesign dropped for 2024 MY.

I doubt there will be changes in 2024 if there is, it's very minor, since Japan market just got the IS500 this year

The 2024 I can almost guarantee you won't receive a single update. You might get a special appearance package, or a new color maybe, but nothing electrically or mechanically will change.

It would be really interesting if for the last year of the IS500, they could do some tuning on the intake and ECU and get it up to “500HP” it would go nicely with the IS500 model and 5L V8. They’re so close already at 472HP. But knowing Lexus they won’t touch the engine until they kill it as it’s already perfection in their eyes lol.

Well…it is perfection! 😜🥰

However, if one of the execs gets a wild hair and approved it, I would be the first 2022’er in line with money in hand! 😈💪🏽😎

to pay for the tune and not a new car right? even getting the newer ECU would be cheaper than trading in.
