Put some sound deadened in the car tonight. Did all 4 doors, the entire trunk, subwoofer deck lid, trunk lid, everywhere. Took all night. Doors close with a solid thud now.

Also had the bumper separation LSB performed today at work. Looks brand new, just wondering how long it’ll last.

^^ That is some impressive work - I am always worried that trying to take the door panels apart will induce rattles and such but I can see the appeal of sound deadening, it also enhances the audio experience and makes the car quieter when the music is not blasting.

Did you add any deadening inside the door cavity?

How has your experience been with the tune so far with throttle and trans? Just looking for feedback for when I get mine maybe next year

thank you! And hopefully adding the deadening prevents any new rattles. But I agree.

I wanted to, but didn’t. The thin plastic seal is super super thin and fragile and the butyl was really tough. Also, didn’t want this CLD to get wet, it’s the silex 3in1 with a foam layer in the middle. It’s open cell so I’m not sure that water would really affect it.

The tune has been phenomenal. The throttle response is better, the car feels like it has a lot more torque, and shifts are responsive and snappier.

Great to hear! I've been on the fence about getting this done. This would be my first tuned car and my concerns is more so on the reliability side long term. Though I can't imagine this tune being an overly aggressive with how the engine and trans is remapped.

You’ll be happy if you get it

you won’t regret it. These cars are very happy with FBO tunes.

Just picked up these OEM RCF wheels.

what are people doing for the wheel bolts? These wheels have a flat lug seat. OEM lugs are a round seat, and the lugs I got with the ****** spacers have a round seat adopter, not sure what’s underneath the adapter.

edit: it keeps censoring bo-no-ss spacers for some reason. Not sure why.

Picked up this PPE midpipe for an absolute steal. Couldn’t help myself.

going to have another o2 bung welded on, as I have an ECB-1 Ethanol and afr gauge on the way. I want to be the very first stock ecu Lexus to have a true flex fuel tune. Matthew Wilson of VF and Loi are cooking it up right now.

im going to be installing the gauge into the center console tray I have. I want the install to be completely un-intrusive.

Was this the one on marketplace? I was looking for it the other day thinking of picking it up. Damn you!
