A few things off the top of my head: 1) hearing the staff brag about 'driving the $h.. " out of my car without realizing I was the owner, I brought it up and called them out, my SA didn't care. 2) Overfilling oil during oil change. 3) Instead of fixing a flat (where I pointed out the nail), they did an oil change instead. I was not even due for an oil change and they didn't even look at the tire.

Called my SA and he told me to bring it around 1130, no appt, he brought it to detailing section. They tried to remove it and couldn’t. He said he’s going to send an email out to Lexus and get back to me by Wednesday to get it covered under warranty.

Took the car in, detailer tried to remove it and couldn't. Service provided said he would follow up in a few days after he reaches out to Lexus to try to cover the repair.
SP never reaches out, I reach out to him, simply replies "they declined repair". Asked why, he says " don't know call them 1800-255-3987" LOL ****ing joke.
I called corporate and they are looking into the case and said they might be able to cover the repair and will call me back the end of this week.

lol there’s videos all online on how to remove it. If you see one of my posts, I have a scratch and asked about it and one of the users says he changes it every year. It’s the same process as like a 2016 rcf or is350.

They tried to remove the plastic piece or tried to remove the scratch?
It's not their job to remove the scratch. You messed it up so its your responsibility and at your cost to replace.
If they couldn't remove the plastic, however, and you were willing to pay them, then they are definitely incompetent.

tacomas had the same issue. A feather would scratch the gauge plastic, its insane. There were companies that sold precut screen protectors for it.

I wiped my dash gauge cluster lightly with microfibre and now I have hairline scratches . What cheap plastic is Lexus using? No one wipe it. Use compressed air to get dust out…

Sadly, all modern Toyotas are using this same polycarbonate(?) gauge cover, apparently without any sort of anti-scratch coating (like you would find on a pair of eyeglass lenses, also made of polycarbonate).

I wiped mine with Armor All and a microfiber like I've done with all my cars and nothing happened. Try Armor All on a small section, maybe it'll remove your other cleaner that might be causing the issue. Can't make it worse I would think... but if it does don't blame me
.
