Default Blackvue dash cam

Aight so I installed the blackvue dr 900x dash cam and rear facing camera today in my IS500... the issue I am having is, it won't stay on when the car is turned off. I tried to run the constant power wire to the interior lights, hazard lights and passenger side power seat but none of those seemed to provide the constant power I need to run the camera during parking mode...

Anyone have any ideas? Ive searched the threads and found some info on IS350s but nothing for the 500 specifically.

thanks in advance,

Do you have a multimeter? That's the best way to find constant power.

Yes, I do. I used it when I installed it.. Im thinking it might be a setting that needs to be changed.

You might need to enable "Parking Mode" within settings and to verify voltage cutoff in parking mode:

OK, it's working properly now. Thanks you for the suggestions.. Looks like I just wasn't patient enough.. Not sure if there is a capacitor or something that kinda stores power so it runs when the car is off or not, but once I drove about 30 minutes, it seems to stay on while parked.. Ive been parked since 10 this morning, and I still have remote access to the cameras, and the lights are on the camera so I guess I hooked it up properly lol..

Thanks again for the suggestions. Hopefully this experience can help someone that may have a similar problem
