Yep, different car, but same engine. The LC has a vacuum controlled exhaust. Someone who knows what they are doing could theoretically design something for the IS500 that sounds very close to an LC500. Me, I ripped off the exhaust system on my LC in favor of PPE headers and PPE Dual Mode Exhaust
Agreed with this to a degree. As others mentioned the LC has an intake tube (or something like that) which affects how things sound inside too, but the resonated midpipe adds more rumble under load but stays quiet and drone free on the highway.
And my Apexi resonated midpipe doesn’t sound anything like a Mustang GT … I’d immediately rip mine off if mine if it did. Honestly that earlier YouTube link sounds way way raspier than mine sounds …
