Hi fellow IS500 owners,

I just bought a Lexus IS500 today. Wanted to get PPF for the hood, bumper and fender. Any recommendations for getting PPF?

Or just get the 3M hood protection $450 parts at dealership? mine doesn’t come with the 3M protection and the dealership said they don’t install it. Any idea where to get that if it’s a good one?

Finally for windows tint, which brand and model and installer do you recommend?

I can't help on Nor Cal locations, but I recommend the ceramic window tint. I didn't think it would matter, but it really does keep the car A LOT cooler on the inside. I had my car parked outside my mom's house the other day, over 100 degrees outside, and when I went home the car wasn't that bad inside. Normally it would be a freaking oven.

for window tint. Auto image in Belmont does solid work. Had Jeff tint my last 4 vehicles and just had my IS done using llumar IRX film.
